The BARA-MED “Select” is the only monoplace hyperbaric chamber that includes a unique gurney garage*, providing an undercarriage storage area for optimized space usage, and is suitable to accommodate patients up to 700 lbs.

Your Choice of Touchscreen Display or Keyboard/Mouse
The Bara-Med “Select” Monoplace Hyperbaric Chamber comes complete with a large 17″ inch touchscreen display, as well as a keyboard/mouse (for those that find it easier to utilize a swing arm mounted keyboard). The computer mounted swing arm allows for one operator to easily operate two chambers at once. The monitors can be aligned over a desk positioned between the chambers, allowing for one display on both the operators left and right side of the desk.

Includes ETC’s O.S.C.A.R (Operating System for Control And Recordkeeping)
O.S.C.A.R.’s automatic control system allows for programmable treatment profiles with SMOOTH RIDE—a patient friendly pressurization alternative that minimizes complications due to middle ear and sinus barotraumas without increasing compression time. In addition, SMOOTH RIDE enables you to obtain a smoother decompression which is beneficial for patients with COPD or other gas trapping lung disorders. The operator maintains the ability to override the treatment process for contingency management. O.S.C.A.R. provides the ability to program patient specific profiles for an individual patient that may require a deviation from the standard profile.

O.S.C.A.R Manages Your Electronic Records
When hyperbaric chamber treatment is complete, O.S.C.A.R. will store an electronic record with a graphical view of the treatment and any notes that may have been entered during the treatment. A hard copy of the report can be printed to be placed in the patient’s medical chart or used for billing purposes. Training Included

Additional Features
The entire Bara-Med line of acrylic monoplace hyperbaric chambers is supplied with manual compression and decompression as a back-up system, two way communications, the ability to pressurize on air or oxygen and a patient call button, several through hull penetrations for IV infusion and a ventilator access. Additionally, ETC supplies in the connections to interface with TCOM, ECG, and a general purpose penetration in to the chamber free of charge. These penetrations are optional equipment on many of our competitors’ chambers.
