Southampton, PA, October 11, 2011: Environmental Tectonics Corporation’s (“ETC” or the “Company”) Biomedical Systems Group has contracted with Pinnacle Health System in Harrisburg, PA for the delivery and installation of one BARA-MED® “Select” (http://etchyperbaricchambers.com/hyperbaric-chamber-baramed-select and one BARA MED® XD monoplace hyperbaric chamber.

BARA-MED Select is the only hyperbaric chamber available with a special gurney undercarriage storage area built in. After loading a patient into the chamber, the gurney undercarriage storage area allows treatment personnel the ability to immediately and efficiently store the gurney directly under the chamber to be stored for convenient, future retrieval. This feature eliminates the need for additional facility square footage and maintains the order in the treatment area. This enables HBOT treatment facilities to be located in building with less of a footprint ultimately saving in associated facility costs.

The BARA-MED ® XD offers an increased tube diameter, accommodating patients up to 700lbs. The XD’s optimized chamber size additionally lowers operational costs and improves clinical efficiency by offering a lower oxygen consumption rate.
